Making a game in C from scratch! Ep 13: [Main Menu, Save System, Implementing Sounds in the Game]
Hello everyone!
Another super productive stream! We are starting to see an end to the series where we create an entire game in C from scratch! The game is starting to look like a game! :D
Today, I started the stream by fixing some hard to find bugs and other general improvements, then we implemented a main menu, the save system (with the needed Win32 architecture) and started implementing the sound effects (and improving the audio/mixer system). Tons of gamemaking goodness! :D
In case you missed a stream, you can watch the WHOLE development process of the game on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/DanZaidan
You can watch me develop the game live! https://www.twitch.tv/danzaidan
You can also download and the source code for free! https://danzaidan.itch.io/break-arcad...
Next time, we'll finish implementing the sound effects!

What if Breakout was the only arcade game people could make? An open-source game, written entirely on a live stream.
