Making a game in C from scratch! Ep 07: [Improving the Game Feel (Juice)]
Hello everybody!
This time around, I started to improve the game's feel, and add a little juice! :D
You can start to see the big improvements in the game by just adding and exaggerating the player feedbacks, like animation, visual elements (like trails and more).
You can watch the stream and see the whole process, the decisions being made and why and, of course, the actual programming!
In fact, if you want to see the ENTIRE process of development, you can come to Youtube and watch from the very first episode, where I started with a blank file and no libraries! Every single line of code and its purpose were created live.
Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTwh9oHcs1w&list=PL7Ej6SUky1357r-Lqf_nogZWHssXP-hvH&index=1
You can also catch the streams live to ask questions and see the whole process! twitch.tv/danzaidan
Next time, we are going to continue improving the gameplay, by adding more feedback, animations, particles and hunting those nasty bugs!
See you then!
