Making a game in C from scratch! Ep 05: [Programming the Game Design Core]
Hello everybody!
In the previous episodes, we made a platform layer (with input, window messages), a software renderer, a collision system, the basic breakout clone and some cool mechanics we came up with.
Now, we could at last implement the core game design for the game: the base idea that made me want to create this game in the first place!
This was a great stream, I had a lot of fun as the crazy ideas started coming together, and there were a lot of people on chat too!
And not only did we program the cool base game design ideas, but we also did a random number generator (with no libraries!) and some cool code restructure.
Check out this stream (and all of the previous ones) on Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/DanZaidan
Come watch me program live on Twitch! https://www.twitch.tv/danzaidan
Next time, we're going to debug the problems that piled up in the past few streams (while we were mindlessly adding crazy ideas!) :P
I'll see you then!
