Making a game in C from scratch! Ep 01: [Platform Layer and Software Rendering Programming]
Hello everybody!
I have been wanting to do this for some time, and I finally started!
I'm going to develop an entire game, in C, from scratch in live streams. :D
You can already see the first live stream! https://youtu.be/cTwh9oHcs1w
This will be be a big challenge for me but I'm super excited. I have just finished the first live stream where I programmed the first version of the platform layer (window, input, time) as well as a pixel-independent software renderer.
You can watch it all on youtube: www.youtube.com/DanZaidan
If you want to catch me live and ask questions, check out my Twitch page: https://www.twitch.tv/danzaidan
You can, of course, download the full source code I wrote on this live stream to learn, play around and increment.
It's all in the Itch.io's game page! https://danzaidan.itch.io/break-arcade-games-out
The first episode was a huge success and I hope you all liked it as much as I did.
Stay tuned for the next one!

What if Breakout was the only arcade game people could make? An open-source game, written entirely on a live stream.
